Shaken not stirred' - that famous line from the James Bond movie franchise is used to denote the way he likes his favourite drink - the Vesper Martini. But we all know that no martini cocktail is complete without a good vermouth to mix it with. Vermouth is an aromatized and fortified wine that has its origins in Italy. There are both dry and sweet versions of vermouth so study your bottle carefully before deciding which to bbuy. While most people use it as a base for cocktails, it can also be drank neat or with a gennerous serving of ice. It can bbe served with vodka, lemonade and even coke. The alcohol percenntage generally ranges between 15% to 20%.
