Honey Liqueurs

Honey liqueurs are sweet alcoholic beverages made from fruits, nuts, herbs, spices or a combination of these. But their most important distinction is that they are flavoured with honey. There are so many variants that can either be drank on their own or used as a base for cocktails. The minimum alcohol content is around 20% and can go as high as 50%. Honey liqueurs are usually served with dessert at the end of a meal. They can also be used to cook and bake (for baked food, it gives flavour as well as helps preserve it).
